Quality Control and Inspections
Understanding quality requirements from our clients, we at Ess Ell follow strict guidelines to control quality from the stage of raw material procurement to final finished products. Other then random inspections during production, we perform below inspections:-
- Pilot Inspection
- Midline inspection
- Final Inspection
- 100% Inspection
Pilot inspection is done on a small run of production (5%. Quantity of PO) and all defects/limitation are discussed and sorted with factory and client to make sure production is made of acceptable quality samples from pilot inspection. Defective samples are shared with customer for physical review of findings and factories are asked to proceed on bulk production based on approval from client.

Mid-line inspection is done when 50% quantity of PO is ready. During this stage, packing method is also finalized after performing ship test and factory gets approval to start packing.
Final inspection is done when 100% goods are ready and packed. Inspection is done based on AQL and AOQL as specified by client. Once inspection is completed, detailed inspection report is shared to client for feedback. TOP samples pulled from final inspection and sent to client for final review. Once customer review TOP samples and approve, we allow factory to move shipment to port.
Ess Ell also helps customers tailor the inspection criteria per their specific requirements or as per product use. Once inspection is completed, we issue a shipment release certificate to factory which allows factory to dispatch shipment to port and forwarder is instructed not to accept shipment without this certificate. This is to safeguard that no cargo with failed inspection or without inspection, is handed over to forwarder and gets shipped out of country.
